Basketball Game Preview: Edison Eagles vs. Pryor Tigers

The Edison Eagles will face off against the Pryor Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Edison strolled past Coweta with points to spare, taking the game 43-27. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Tigers are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Tigers on Friday. Pryor came up short against Tahlequah, falling 58-34. The loss continues a trend for Pryor in their matchups with Tahlequah: they've now lost nine in a row.

Edison pushed their record up to 13-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pryor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Everything went Edison's way against Pryor in their previous meeting back in January, as Edison made off with a 64-42 victory. Will Edison repeat their success, or does Pryor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
