Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boerne-Champion). Everything went their way against the Wagner Thunderbirds on Thursday as the Boerne-Champion Chargers made off with a 16-1 win. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Boerne-Champion's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Wagner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Boerne-Champion is taking a road trip to square off against Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wagner, they will welcome Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
