Basketball Recap: Freedom Skates Past Hibriten with Ease

Freedom won the last time they faced Hibriten and things went their way on Monday too. The Freedom Patriots blew past the Hibriten Panthers 88-54. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 26 points or more this season.

Freedom was led to victory by King Johnson and Kobe Johnson. King went 8-for-12 en route to 17 points and seven assists, while Kobe went 6-for-9 on his way to 14 points. Kobe is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaden Davis, who posted nine points.

Freedom smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.

Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season. Hibriten dropped their record down to 3-22 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Freedom wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-68 victory against South Caldwell on the 18th. Hibriten does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
