Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Washington Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Kennedy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-22.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennedy will take on rival James Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Washington is set to square off against their familiar foe Irvington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
