Baseball Recap: Keota Comes Up Short

After flying high against Colfax-Mingo on Tuesday, Keota came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Notre Dame Nikes on Saturday, falling 11-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Nikes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Keota's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Notre Dame, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

Keota does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame, they will take on New London on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Nikes surely won't give up without a fight.
