Baseball Recap: Los Osos Victorious

While Los Osos's victory against Chino Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grizzlies skirted past the Huskies 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won three in a row.

Wyatt Mohler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Mohler was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other pitching news, Los Osos got a great performance from Gavin Loeb-Keene as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, Loeb-Keene posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Hunter Meyer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Los Osos' record is now 12-3. As for Chino Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.

Los Osos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Rancho Cucamonga on the 14th. As for Chino Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Etiwanda on the 14th.
