Soccer Recap: Lehigh Comes Up Short

Lehigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ida Baker Bulldogs. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Lightning couldn't quite close it out.

Lens Dorlys and Robert Cocom scored both of Lehigh's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ida Baker, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3-2.

Lehigh has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Cape Coral on the 9th. As for Ida Baker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against North Fort Myers on the 6th.
