Alison Vandiver made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Vandiver was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Charlotte Llaneza was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isabelle (Izzy) Horton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Covenant Day hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Christian School scored the most runs they've had this season two weeks ago, but it wasn't enough. They lost 20-9 to Piedmont Community Charter.
Covenant Day pushed their record up to 10-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ambassador Christian School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
