Basketball Recap: South Shore International Takes a Loss

South Shore International lost against Morgan Park back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The South Shore International Tars took a 59-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan Park Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Tars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Mustangs are ranked 270th).

This is the second loss in a row for South Shore International and nudges their season record down to 6-15. As for Morgan Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

South Shore International will challenge Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Morgan Park, they will be playing at home against Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
