Basketball Recap: Northern Burlington Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

Northern Burlington won the last time they faced Pemberton, and Maleeya Brammer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Northern Burlington Greyhounds claimed a resounding 79-31 victory over the Pemberton Hornets thanks in part to Brammer, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in shooting accuracy (61%).

Northern Burlington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Pemberton, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Northern Burlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-43 win against Delran on the 10th. Pemberton has also already played their next game (against Steinert), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
