Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Davis Beats Nimitz for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Benjamin Davis entered their tilt with Nimitz on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Benjamin Davis won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-13.

Benjamin Davis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooke Brown, who had 32 digs. Brown has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amerblyn Galdamez, who had 16 digs.

The win got Benjamin Davis back to even at 19-19. As for Nimitz, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-27 record this season.
