Volleyball Recap: Walker Valley Takes a Loss

If Walker Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Howard Tech on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Cleveland Blue Raiders on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-15.

Walker Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cleveland, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-6.

Coming up, Walker Valley will square off against CSTHEA at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cleveland, they will welcome East Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
