Volleyball Recap: William Smith Comes Up Short + How To Watch

William Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Loveland Classical Lions, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-4.

Leading Loveland Classical to victory were Sofia Winters and Lila Hilde. Winters had three digs and three aces, while Hilde had ten assists and eight aces. The dominant performance also gave Hilde a new career-high in hitting percentage (80%).

William Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Loveland Classical, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.
