The Buffaloes were red-hot offensively headed into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the eight contests prior) but the Eagles' defense proved too tough.
Stockton Fye was his usual excellent self, rushing for 245 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries for Stratton. Fye has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last ten times he's played. Another rusher making a difference was Brody Webb, who gained 108 total yards and three touchdowns.
Caliche's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Stratton, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Caliche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stratton has also already played their next matchup, a 49-32 win against Otis on the 23rd.
