Gilberto Torres put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Monday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Alamogordo back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Torres has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
