Baseball Recap: Alchesay's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Alchesay was the 7-6 winner over Mogollon when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Alchesay Falcons took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mogollon Mustangs on Tuesday.

Alchesay saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Cosay, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another was Chez Massey, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Alchesay's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Mogollon, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Alchesay will take on Winslow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mogollon, they will square off against Ray at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Ray will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mogollon surely won't give up without a fight.
