Neelyville faced Kennett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 11-7. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 11-4 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Neelyville and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Kennett, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neelyville will welcome Greenville at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennett, they will challenge Oran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
