Meanwhile, Castle View faced Ponderosa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Sabercats never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. That six goal margin sets a new team best for Castle View this season.

The win made it two in a row for Castle View and bumps their season record up to 6-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. With that draw, Rock Canyon's record moves to 2-1-2.

Rock Canyon came out on top in a nail-biter against Castle View in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Sabercats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
