Football Recap: Howell Central Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Festus, Howell Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 34-21 win over the Vianney Golden Griffins. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their seven-point performance the match before.

Howell Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Vianney, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Howell Central and Vianney will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Spartans will face off against rival Fort Zumwalt West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Vianney is set to challenge their familiar foe Chaminade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
