Nashoba Regional won the last time they faced Groton-Dunstable and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves blew past the Crusaders 14-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Emily Bechara made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off ten hits. Bechara was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI.
In other batting news, Chloe Hughes was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Thoin, who went 3-for-6 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
