Brandon entered their tilt with Kearsley on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The Blackhawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Brandon easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

Leading Brandon to victory were Izzy Sowles and Brooke Roberts. Sowles had four aces, three digs, and one block, while Roberts had five digs and two assists. That's the most aces Sowles has posted since back in September of 2024.

The win got Brandon back to even at 7-7. As for Kearsley, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Brandon has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kelloggsville on the 13th. Kearsley has also already played their next match (against Swartz Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
