Basketball Game Preview: Montgomery Bears vs. College Station Cougars

The Montgomery Bears will square off against the College Station Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Montgomery came up short against Lake Creek and fell 61-48.

Meanwhile, College Station lost to Brenham at home by a 63-48 margin on Tuesday.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for College Station, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Montgomery beat College Station 53-44 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Montgomery repeat their success, or does College Station have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
