Preview: Washington Eagles vs. North Forest Bulldogs
The Washington Eagles on the road again on Monday and play against the North Forest Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
On Saturday, things could have been worse for Washington, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-47 loss to Wheatley. Washington has not had much luck with Wheatley recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, North Forest scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Furr as North Forest made off with a 47-25 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win North Forest has posted against Furr since January 29, 2021.
Washington's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for North Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Washington took their victory against North Forest in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 55-30. Does Washington have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Forest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
