Oxford (Miss.) at Starkville (Miss.)

Why it's big: This is called the Little Egg Bowl in homage to the college football rivalry between Ole Miss and Mississippi State, teams that share hometowns with these high schools. Oxford, ranked 22nd in the latest MaxPreps Xcellent 25, is off to a 1-0 start after shutting out Southaven, 35-0, last week despite committing a whopping 24 penalties, according to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.

Starkville is trying for its third win over Oxford since the rivalry began in 2012. The Yellowjackets must bounce back from a 26-20 double-overtime loss to Noxubee County (Macon). A 14-catch, 147-yard receiving effort from four-star receiver A.J. Brown couldn't save Starkville from its fourth loss in six seasons to the Tigers.

Names to watch: Oxford features two of 247Sports' Top 30 prospects for Mississippi in Ole Miss-committed receiver Dekaylin Metcalf (6-3, 195) and defensive end Korbin Harmon (6-4, 230).

Starkville has a pair of Mississippi Top 15 prospects in Brown and defensive tackle Kobe Jones (6-foot-4, 265 pounds).
