Basketball Recap: Alsea Comes Up Short

Alsea lost against Crow/City First Christian Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Alsea Wolverines fell just short of Crow/City First Christian Academy by a score of 30-28. The matchup marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Alsea dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Crow/City First Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Alsea will challenge Siletz Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alsea is facing Siletz Valley at the right time seeing as Siletz Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Crow/City First Christian Academy, they will face off against McKenzie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
