Football Game Preview: Johns Creek Gladiators vs. Milton Eagles + How To Watch

The Johns Creek Gladiators will challenge the Milton Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Johns Creek's offense has struggled lately (they haven't scored a point in eight consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Johns Creek's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Seckinger on Friday. They took a blow against the Jaguars, falling 44-0. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Jaguars are ranked 142nd).

Meanwhile, Milton entered their game against Gainesville last Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell 28-16 to the Red Elephants. While the Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Red Elephants 13-7.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Bentley Hickman and NIGEL NEWKIRK. NEWKIRK had a great game and rushed for 162 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Hickman did his best for the losing side, rushing for 100 yards and one touchdown.

Johns Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Milton, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Johns Creek was taken down by Milton 56-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Gladiators, Luke Nickel (who threw for 183 yards and three TDs while completing 91.7% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
