Basketball Recap: Rainier's Win Ends 18-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Rainier's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 46-19 win over the Rogue River Chieftains.

Rainier's victory ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Rogue River, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rainier and Horizon Christian will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rogue River, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
