Volleyball Recap: Hoehne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hoehne was the 2-0 winner over Monte Vista when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Farmers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hoehne sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 22-25, 15-8.

Braylee Foster paced Hoehne's offense, picking up five kills. Foster got some help from Mikenna Dasko and her 11 assists. Isabella Chacon and Paisley SanRoman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Hoehne's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hoehne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Sargent on the 23rd. As for Monte Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Pueblo Central on the 23rd.
