Volleyball Recap: Scarlett Petticrew and Abby Manson Secure Win for Lafayette

Lafayette won the last time they faced Comeaux and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

In the three sets Lafayette was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-13, 25-13.

Lafayette was led to victory by Abby Manson and Scarlett Petticrew. Manson had 20 digs and two assists, while Petticrew had ten digs and four aces. That's the most digs Manson has posted since back in October of 2024.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will head out on the road to face off against David Thibodaux at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Comeaux, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Hanson Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
