Volleyball Recap: David Woo and David Lee Secure Win for Dublin Scioto

Dublin Scioto won the last time they faced Hayes and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Irish came out on top against the Pacers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Irish.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22.

Leading Dublin Scioto to victory were David Lee and David Woo. Lee had 12 digs and two aces, while Woo had 11 digs, eight kills, and two aces. That's the most aces Lee has posted since April 3rd. Will Davis also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Dublin Scioto was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

The win got Dublin Scioto back to even at 8-8. As for Hayes, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Coming up, Dublin Scioto will challenge Worthington Kilbourne at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Irish surely won't give up without a fight. Hayes has already played their next game (against Bishop Hartley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
