Basketball Recap: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Takes a Loss

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Cedar Catholic Trojans and fell 86-40. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.

Despite the loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge still got an impressive performance from Gibson Roberts, who posted 17 points along with five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Korth, who earned six points.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cedar Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-53 defeat against Humphrey-Lindsay on the 10th. As for Cedar Catholic, they will face off against Wynot on Tuesday. Cedar Catholic will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
