Soccer Game Preview: Tates Creek vs. Great Crossing

The Tates Creek Commodores will venture away from home to take on the Great Crossing Warhawks at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tates Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Model a 3-0 shutout on Saturday.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Great Crossing was forced to settle for a draw. They and Campbell County finished up their game with a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Great Crossing's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. As for Tates Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything went Tates Creek's way against Great Crossing when the teams last played back in August of 2024, as Tates Creek made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
