Groton School posted their closest win since April 11th on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brooks, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for Groton School: when they faced off against Brooks back in April, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Groton School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiran Sen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Wesley DiModica was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Groton School's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Brooks, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
