Basketball Recap: Burke Largent and Eli Ottinger Secure Win for De Beque + How To Watch

De Beque won the last time they faced Ridgway and things went their way on Friday too. The Dragons walked away with a 68-56 win over the Demons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Leading De Beque to victory were Eli Ottinger and Burke Largent. Ottinger almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine assists, while Largent posted 20 points. Largent's big performance that afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Zang, who earned ten points and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: De Beque was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Ridgway still got an impressive performance from Henry Deppen, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brodie Musgrove, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards.

De Beque's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

De Beque has already played their next contest, a 66-48 win against Ouray on the 6th. As for Ridgway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-62 loss against Olathe on the 5th.
