The Powhatan Indians had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Monacan Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-57 back in January.

Monacan was led to victory by Trinity Jones and Lila Donnelly. Jones went 10-for-15 on her way to 25 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Donnelly shot 4-for-5 from long range and dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Donnelly a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (80%). Janiah Marrow was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 10 points.

Powhatan's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Monacan, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
