Basketball Recap: Heartland Christian Triumphs

Heartland Christian won the last time they faced Valley Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Heartland Christian Lions snuck past the Valley Christian Eagles with a 42-36 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Heartland Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

Coming up, Heartland Christian will venture away from home to take on Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cornerstone Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Heartland Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
