Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

St. Joseph lost against Rochester on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luca Schiano Di Cola was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Rochester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph is taking a road trip to face off against Line Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochester, they will take on Leechburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
