It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Carthage ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 12-6 victory over the Indian River Wolves. The Comets' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Carthage's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Indian River, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Carthage will square off against Nottingham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Indian River, they will take on Institute of Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them.
