Durham School of the Arts waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Wednesday.

Durham School of the Arts not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Southern School of Energy and Sustainability between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

Lucy Moffet paced Durham School of the Arts' offense, picking up 12 kills. Moffet got some help from Tessa Nayo and her 20 assists. Nayo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Durham School of the Arts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Northwood on the 25th. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability has also already played their next game (against Northern Durham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
