Baseball Recap: Seekonk Takes a Loss

Seekonk suffered their closest defeat since April 19, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears by a score of 8-6. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Connor Flynn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Austin Robinson, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Seekonk's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Seekonk will challenge rival West Bridgewater at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greater New Bedford RVT is set to face off against their familiar foe Apponequet Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
