Plano came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Sandwich Indians 56-54. Given the Reapers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Indians are ranked 436th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plano now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Sandwich, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Plano will face off against Woodstock North at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandwich, they will square off against Genoa-Kingston at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will be up against the Cogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
