Volleyball Recap: Bernstein Takes a Loss

If Bernstein was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hollywood last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grant Lancers on Saturday. Considering the last time the Dragons couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

The defeat snapped Bernstein's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record. As for Grant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Bernstein didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Fairfax on the 5th. As for Grant, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against La Serna on the 5th.
