Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Corvian Community picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cam Johnson. Johnson was excellent, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.9). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Corvian Community's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Johnson and Corvian Community will square off against Community School of Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Corvian Community Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to AJ Jackson Jr.
AJ Jackson Jr.'s big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Jackson Jr. as he rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.
This season, Jackson Jr. has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 107.4 passing yards per game.

Alex Waterfield Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bishop McGuinness was led to victory by Alex Waterfield, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.

Johntay Gaither Delivers Electric Performance Vs Bishop Mcguinness
While Pine Lake Prep might've come up empty on Friday, Johntay Gaither wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Gaither was still balling out as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
On the year, Gaither has averaged 31.1 receiving yards per game.

Oliver Morris and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Oliver Morris's big game helped extend Community School of Davidson's winning streak to four on Friday. Morris was unstoppable, picking up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Community School of Davidson is undefeated when Morris posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
For the year, Morris has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.
