Volleyball Recap: North East Grape Pickers vs. Cathedral Prep Ramblers

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral Prep Ramblers. The Grape Pickers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-10.

Cathedral Prep found their leader in underclassman Kamryn Resurreccion, who had seven digs and three aces. Resurreccion is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. Colette Speros was another key player, getting nine kills, three digs, and two aces.

North East's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9-1. As for Cathedral Prep, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-9-1.

North East has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Harbor Creek on the 17th. Cathedral Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
