Baseball Game Preview: Salado Eagles vs. Temple Wildcats

The Salado Eagles will take on the Temple Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last three games Salado has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Salado is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering East View just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 3-2.

Salado saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Robinson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Temple wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Bulldawgs: they've now lost three in a row.

Temple's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20-2. As for Salado, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
