Mountain Crest is a perfect 10-0 against Bear River since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Crest's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Mountain Crest fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Tooele on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 3-2.

Tanner Harris and Daxton Groll scored both of Mountain Crest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Bear River fell victim to Ridgeline and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Riverhawks, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Bear River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Ridgeline are ranked third).

Mountain Crest dropped their record down to 6-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bear River, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Mountain Crest got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Bear River by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
