Softball Recap: Jacksboro Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Jacksboro rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wall Hawks as they made off with a 17-6 victory. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Jacksboro got a massive performance out of Brailyn Tullous, who went 4-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits Tullous has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Holly Lehman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Jacksboro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Jacksboro's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-11-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wall, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat Jacksboro by a score of 6-5 on Saturday.
