Volleyball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Croix Falls Saints. If the Oredockers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Saints when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Ashland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-23, 25-18.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for St. Croix Falls, they pushed their record up to 19-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ashland will face off against rival Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Croix Falls is set to take on their familiar foe Ladysmith at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
