Basketball Recap: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers were beaten by the Mishawaka Marian Knights 60-19. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Mishawaka Marian to victory were Kariya Byer and Elle Boser. Byer almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards, while Boser dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Boser is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fane Sete, who posted six points.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Mishawaka Marian, they moved to 5-16 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic has already played their next matchup (against New Buffalo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mishawaka Marian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
