Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Weir Red Riders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Riders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

While Catholic Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-19.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Weir, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11-1.

Looking ahead, Catholic Central will take on Steubenville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weir, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheeling Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
